Q: How long does the procedure take?

A: 2-3 hours 

Q: Can I get my brows removed if I do not like them? 

A: Yes, but it is unlikely that people dislike their brows after they heal.

Q: Can Microblading be done over tattooed brows?

A: Yes, If your old tattoo has faded away you can get a new set. If the tattoo is still fresh, you would have to get a brow lift procedure done before the new set and that can take up to 4-5 sessions depending on the serverity.

Q: Is Microblading or tattooing eyebrows better?

A: Microblading creates natural  results compared to tattooing. Tattooing looks drawn in and flat.

Q: How long do Semi eyebrow tattoos last?

A: 1-3 years. It depends on the individual. Everybody has unique skin. Oily skin types won't hold pigment, as well as dry skin types, but powder brows are a good choice for anyone with oily skin. 

Q: Do eyebrow tattoos fade?

A: Yes, over time they will fade.

Q: Does Microblading hurt more than a tattoo?

A: No, Any form of semi brows are not embedded as deep as a tattoo gun. It also depends on your pain tolerance. 

Q: How long does it take for Microblading to heal?

A: It takes 7-14 days for the brows to heal and show its true color. 

Q: How much does eyebrow Microblading cost?

A: Prices start at 250 and go up from there. 

Q: How long does Microblading last on oily skin?

A: It can last 1-2 years with minimal touch-ups. It is recommended to add a mix of shading or powder to help retain color on oily skin.

Q: Is it normal for Microblading to disappear?

A: Yes, The healing process will involve loss of pigment because your body is trying to heal and there is something foreign embedded into your skin.

Q: When can you wash your face after Microblading?

A: After 10 days you can wash your whole face. During the healing time, you can apply Vaseline to the brow area to wash your face carefully. 

Q: How long does it take for Microblading scabs to fall off?

A:  It can take up to two weeks, but everyone heals differently. 

Q: Can you wash your hair after Microblading?

A: Yes, but avoid water touching your face. 

Q: Is eyebrow Microblading safe?

A: Any procedure that involves tearing of the skin will have risks associated when opening the skin. 

Q: Does Microblading stop hair growth?

A: No, It will not effect your hair growth.

Q: Is Microblading suitable for oily skin?

A: Yes and No, It really depends on how oily your skin is. It is best to shade or try a micro mix to help reduce strokes from expanding.

Q: Is it difficult to work on clients with deep wrinkles? 

A: Yes, With wrinkles comes unevenness and difficulty retaining color. 

Q: What happens if you pick Microblading scabs?

A: Pigment loss can occur if the scabs are not falling off naturally.

Q: Why do you need a touch up after Microblading?

A: It’s important to get a touch up at 4-6 weeks to realign and add to the area that lost color during the healing period. 

Q: How do you take care of freshly Microbladed eyebrows?

A: Every technician has different but similar ideas on aftercare. You can find the aftercare form under the forms section on my website. 

Q: What should you NOT do before Microblading?

A: Avoid alcohol, coffee, energizing drinks on the day of treatment. Avoid tanning for 3 days prior to procedure. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 48 hours prior to your procedure. Do not take omega3 (fish oil) 1 week prior to treatment.

Q: Can Microblading cause scarring?

A: The short answer is YES, but if done correctly, it should never leave a scar. 

Q: Can I put makeup on after Microblading?

A: Ideally No, But if you must yes you can. If you do apply makeup avoid the brow area and wash your hands really well. 

Q: How often should you touch up Microblading?

A: Once pigment Noticeably fades you will need to go back to your practitioner. 

Q: What is the age limit on microblading?

A:  18 and up or with a parent consent form. 

Q: Can I get microblading done if I have HIV, Hepatitis or any other viral infections or disease?

A: No. If you carry any diseases that can cause death or server health issues to the others around you the short answer is NO. 

Q: What's the difference between Microblading and permanent makeup?

A: Microblading is embedded into the basal layer of the skin, and tattooing is embedded into the dermis or the second layer below the epidermis.
